The Meiner's Daughter (Ojai, CA)

The Miner’s Daughter is a 600-sq-ft one-bedroom, one-bath retreat in Ojai, converted from an existing two-car garage and fully brought to code to meet all Ventura County short-term rental regulations.

I designed the space and oversaw the entire transformation, including insulation, flooring, soundproofing, new windows, recessed lighting, kitchen cabinetry, and more. I also designed and built several pieces of custom furniture and architectural details, including mahogany windowsills. I also created and framed the custom photography throughout the space, and shot the final listing imagery.

Now in its eighth year, the property has become Ojai’s top-rated Airbnb with 600+ five-star reviews, consistently generating ~$75,000 per year.
